Looking at the release notes of JDK 1.6.0_33, there is a notable difference to previous release notes. There is much noise about all the security bugfixes. But the usual list of fixed bugs along with the Bugparade IDs is missing. There is only a two item list of "notable buf fixes" without any references to the details in Bugparade. A list of "some of the bug fixes" is still present in the JDK 7 release notes. But its incomplete and not necessarily valid for the 1.6 release.
Is this the new way how Oracle is going to write release notes? Are they in the process of abandoning Bugparade completely? But then, why is the Bug Database referenced from the list of release notes? Not that Bugparade had ever got much attention by good old Sun. Just look at the many years old severe bugs that were never fixed. But Bugparade references from release notes at least give you a lot of additional information. I don't even know if it's worth upgrading now.
