I am thrilled to share with you the news that FuseSource has agreed to be acquired by Red Hat, Inc. [Read press release] Red Hat is a $1B open source infrastructure and middleware company committed to customer success, and there could not be a better home for the FuseSource products and services.
Red Hat and FuseSource are completely aligned in their vision for open source – not only in how we build products but also in how we value the community. We both develop products by starting with best-in-class open source projects, and we both remain committed to contributing back to the community. As a united company we can offer more comprehensive solutions, ultimately getting our products into the hands of more development teams and grow the community.
This acquisition is a huge win and source of momentum for both our customers and our partners.
