Obama is quoted supporting his counter-terrorism aides say that the current security theater is the only way to guard against hidden explosives. It doesn’t seem that he’s listening to anybody outside of that circle, including any number of security experts who are convinced that the current regime is inappropriate and that there are a number of ways to do provide effective security without trampling on people’s rights.
